Social Future’s raised $6m in funding

Social Future is an AI-driven social metaverse company that recently announced they raised $6 million in funding. They aim to create personalized and immersive social experiences with their product MAY (“Meet Another You”), which allows users to generate their own virtual worlds with personalized avatars that convey real-time expressions and voices. These interconnected worlds (using blockchain and AI) become an open metaverse for socializing and playing, and users can create NFT spaces where avatars and communities reside. Social Future also has an original IP called ThreeEarsBunny (TEB) that has already amassed a community of over 30,000 members and launched a series of leisure games. Social Future has grown its user base to over 100,000 users and plans to launch an MPC wallet to bridge Web2 and Web3 benefits. They are backed by crypto investors and are a member of OMA3, partnering with metaverse companies such as Animoca Brands, Decentraland, and Metajuice.

Magic Leap collaborating with NVIDIA

Magic Leap and NVIDIA have collaborated to develop a system that enables off-board computing and streaming of 1:1 scale 3D digital models to Magic Leap 2. This system, which combines Magic Leap 2’s AR capabilities with NVIDIA’s RTX GPUs, allows enterprise users to render and stream immersive, full-scale digital twins from the NVIDIA Omniverse platform to Magic Leap 2 without compromising visual quality. This new system empowers professionals to create, design, and collaborate to render physically accurate, photorealistic digital twins to Magic Leap 2 from the most common enterprise modeling tools, such as Autodesk Maya. The collaboration makes design and 3D modeling more efficient and effective and enables new applications across industries, such as automotive, architecture, and healthcare. This system also prioritizes ease of use and efficiency and enables high-fidelity rendering with one click. By leveraging a number of Magic Leap 2 features and NVIDIA RTX GPUs, the solution mitigates common challenges like latency and unlocks incredible new visual details for AR models.
