Marvel’s Pokemon Go Game

Niantic, the company behind the popular augmented reality (AR) game Pokémon Go, is partnering with Marvel to create Marvel World of Heroes, a new location-based AR experience where you create your own superhero and fight crime in the real world. Meta Connect Set For October 11

Meta announced that Meta Connect, the company’s annual conference that delves into their augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) projects, is set for October 11 this year on a virtual stage. At 2021’s Connect event, Meta discussed its investment and vision for the metaverse, This year, many expect Meta to announce Project Cambria, likely the next generation in the company’s VR headsets. The keynote talk and developer sessions will be streamed for free to anyone on the Meta Reality Labs Facebook page.

Geenee AR launches multiplayer WebAR game

WebAR (augmented reality) content creation engine Geenee AR announced a Metaverse multiplayer experience for mobile and web browser users. The experience uses NFTs, which lets players interact with the game using their custom blockchain avatars and digital collectibles. The “NFT All-Stars” app has players fly their avatars through real-world settings to collect points (stars) on a global leader board.
